Painting II
0131 Painting II 1 semester Grades 10, 11, 12 ½ credit
This course continues the introduction of the materials, process, and discipline required in painting. Students will learn how to translate what they see, imagine or express into an image they create with paint. Students will use stretched canvases to work on, use color, manipulate color relationships, apply paint to a surface, and use oil, water based and acrylic paints. The emphasis of this course is on individual exploration and advanced painting theories. Prerequisite: Painting I Fee: 50.00
