Television Production 1 year Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 1 credit
The focus of this course is on the fundamentals of producing programs for public
broadcasting. Students will learn how to write and edit script, broadcast television news and interviews, edit video programs, create computer graphics, learn to use audio and video equipment, and learn to use lighting techniques. Students will also learn basics of non-linear editing. As a requirement for this class, students will videotape programs after and out of school such as sporting events, extra-curricular activities and community events. Students are strongly encouraged to provide their own video camera. Fee: $10.00
