0313 Web Site Design and Development I 1 Semester Grades 10, 11, 12 ½ Credit
Interested in learning how to develop and maintain your own website? This is the class for you! Learn to create websites using the language of the internet: Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML). On completion of this class, participants will be able to explain how web pages are processed, recognize the structure of an HTML page, write HTML tags to create web pages with text, images, tables and links. Additionally, Macromedia Dreamweaver, an industry standard program regarding web design and development, will be used to create websites.
Software such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Access will be used to create your unique site.
