0422 Honors English 10 1 year Grade 10 1 credit
Honors English 10 is a more rigorous course which requires additional work to be completed by students outside of class. As a result, Honors English 10 students should be highly selfmotivated learners. Students will study literature, writing, vocabulary development, library and research skills, and grammar. Students may be required to purchase one or more supplemental books/novels. All 10th grade students will be taking the PSAT test. Honors English 10 may be taken by students who earned primarily A’s and B’s in English 9, or C’s and above in Honors English 9.
