For most teens, high school graduation brings a mixed bag of thoughts and feelings. Many teens can’t wait to leave home and head out on their own. Others need a gentle push out of the nest. No matter how you feel about moving toward independence, you’ll experience more changes over the next several years than at any other time in your life. These changes will be easier to deal with if you’re prepared and have some idea of what may lie ahead. This course will assist you in making the transition to your eventual independence. Build your foundation through improving character and developing relationship skills. Develop consumer and financial skills that include budgeting your finances, finding a place to live, and evaluating food, clothing, and transportation options. No prerequisite required. Fee: $25.00
