Weight Training

1019 Weight Training 1 Semester Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 ¼ credit


This course will consist of both strength training and circuit training to enhance cardio respiratory fitness, muscular strength and muscular endurance. The course is designed to include three days of lifting and 2 days of speedwork/plyometric exercises. A pre and post fitness test will be administered at the beginning and end of the semester, along with a written exam.
