Career Based Intervention Program I (CBIP I) 1 year Grades 9, 10 2 credits
The CBIP I program is a cooperative education program. The student attends regular education classes and works at a training station during a scheduled lab time. The program emphasizes career exploration, preparation for the world of work, paid work experience and academic intervention in a non-traditional setting. Students receive high school credit for both the time spent on the job and the time spent in school. Students must be academically and/or economically disadvantaged and at-risk. Students must have instructor’s permission to enroll in this course. Students will receive 1 lab credit for work, 1 related credit. (Fee: $5)
